Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate, Director and President

Mr Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate is the Co-founder, Director and President of CONRAD & OTTESS Private Asset Management Limited. Mr Ortiz began his career in legal services at his family’s law firm Washburn & Ortiz-Canavate prior to foray into various businesses including trading, business consultancy, gaming and leisure, and investment management in Spain, Japan and Singapore. Mr Ortiz has a Bachelor of Law degree from Madrid University, Spain (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

Wee Chorng Kien (Kurt), Director and Vice President

Mr Wee Chorng Kien (Kurt) is the Director and Vice President of CONRAD & OTTESS Private Asset Management Limited. He has 7 years of experience in managing alternative investment portfolios, offshore financial structures and trust management, private equity deals, research and investment sales. He started his career as an analyst for a European based private investment advisory company managing assets of European and Asian based family offices. In November 1999, Mr Wee co-founded CONRAD & OTTESS to provide customized financial solutions and asset management services to various private clients and family offices. Mr Wee is often invited to speak at conferences and tertiary institutions on hedge funds and alternative investments. He sits on the Council of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Singapore as Vice President. Mr Wee has a Bachelors Degree from the National University of Singapore in Economics and South East Asian Studies.
